- School bird and butterfly count (primary–junior high): watch from a distance without catching, touching or feeding, tally counts and graph them over several weeks, then propose flowering plants for the school garden. How to use these materials in class
- Print a worksheet: open the worksheet page and press Ctrl+P (⌘P on a Mac). Choose 'Save as PDF' to keep a file or share it with the class group.
- The answer key is on the last page and always starts on a new sheet. For pupil copies, set the page range to leave out the last sheet.
- Quizzes on a projector: show one question, let the class choose A–D, then click 'Lihat jawaban' to discuss the explanation and source. No account is needed and no pupil data is stored.
- Classrooms without internet: open the page while online, then save it as a PDF (Ctrl+P) or save the page (Ctrl+S). Infographics can be downloaded as SVG for slides.
- Match your textbook: chapter numbers differ between older printings and revised editions, so look for the chapter title if your school uses another edition.
- Cite the page: give the page title, PanduanHewan.org, the page address and the date you accessed it. For animal data, also cite the original source listed under each worksheet, quiz and infographic.

Are these animal teaching materials free, and is there a PDF?
Yes, free and with no account. There is no separate PDF file: open the worksheet or quiz page, press Ctrl+P (⌘P on a Mac) and choose 'Save as PDF'.
Do these materials follow Kurikulum Merdeka?
Each item is mapped to the learning outcomes (CP) in BSKAP Decision 046/H/KR/2025, which replaced the Kurikulum Merdeka CP decision 032/H/KR/2024, and to chapters of the official IPAS/IPA textbooks on SIBI. PanduanHewan is not official ministry material, so use it alongside the textbook.
Do the quizzes and worksheets have answer keys?
Yes. The worksheet answer key is on the last page and starts on a new sheet when printed. Every quiz question has a 'Lihat jawaban' (show answer) button with the answer, an explanation and its source.

Which grade and chapter cover herbivores, carnivores, omnivores and food chains?
In the revised grade 5 IPAS book both are in Chapter 3, Harmoni dalam Ekosistem; in the 2021 grade 5 book, Chapter 2 of the same name. In junior high, food chains return in grade 7 IPA, Chapter VI, Ekologi dan Pelestarian Lingkungan.
Which grade covers animal reproduction and metamorphosis?
In the 2025 revised grade 3 IPAS book, Chapter 4, Siklus Hidup yang Menakjubkan, covers animals that lay eggs, give birth or both, and metamorphosis. In junior high, the 2022 grade 9 IPA book covers it in Chapter 1, Pertumbuhan dan Perkembangan.
